Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson received a fine reception on his first training session with the Black Stars in two years in Accra on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old, whose return to the team has sparked massive controversy, attracted huge applause from the fans who watched Wednesdays training session at the Accra sports stadium.
It was obvious the supporters had trooped to the venue to catch a glimpse of the exploit of the Doxa shot-stopper as he has not played for the Black Stars in over 24 months.
Every move and antics from the former Blackpool shot-stopper was met with cheers from the crowd.
Kingson must now fight hard to dislodge current number one Fatau Dauda ahead of Tuesdays World Cup playoffs against Egypt.
He is the most capped player with 90 appearances at the international stage for the West African country.
