The Ghana international is a sure bet to leave Gelsenkirchen at the end of the season after failing to even warm the bench at Schalke.
Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan is set to leave German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 at the end of the season as he seeks to find a club for more playing time.
The diminutive midfield enforcer has failed to even make a single appearance on the bench for the Gelsenkirchen-based club since his return from Osasuna in the Spanish La Liga.
Goal Ghana understands the player will agree with Schalke to part ways at the end of the term in a bid to revive his career that has taken a downward trend.
Annan was almost shipped out to Bochum, but that loan deal fell through last summer. He has had stincts at Vitesse and Rosenborg.
He has fallen down the pecking order at national level as well due to lack of play time at club level.
