The former Inter-Allies player has lost his mum, according to his club, but will not be in Ghana anytime soon.
Spanish side Granada have confirmed the death of the mother of Ghanaian youngster Clifford Aboagye, adding the player has no intention to travel to Ghana now.
According to a release by Granada, the 2013 Fifa Under-20 World Cup bronze ball winner has not requested for a leave of absence, but they have agreed for now to let him sit out of training and games.
The young Ghanaian playmaker, 18, is going through a rough patch over the recent death of his mother a few days ago, so it has been suggested that he skips training session held in the fields of Antonio Snchez and games, the club said.
Strangely, he has not asked to travel to Ghana to be with his family.
Mrs Aboagye passed away in Teshie, Accra last week.
