Abeiku Ainooson picked up his first best player prize at the Africa Nations Championship as he helped Ghana to the finals.
The defender, who scored from the spot as Ghana defeated Nigeria 4-1 on penalties after the last-four fixture had traveled 120 minutes with no goals recorded during regulation time.
And as he celebrated victory over a rival, he was presented the Orange man-of-the-match award.
Ainooson, who started at right-back, slotted in as a central defender following Kwabena Adusei's sending off and put in a solid performance.
