Defending champions of the MTN FA Cup, Medeama has been fined 1,500 cedis for refusing television coverage of their matches.
Medeama who are confronted with the task of shrugging off Okwawu United at the round of 16 in their quest to retain their title were fined alongside Bibiani Gold Stars and Starke FC.
The trio will cough 1,500 cedis each for going against the rules of engagement.
Kurt Okraku, a member of the FA Cup Committee said at the draw of 16 on Thursday that �It has come to our attention that some clubs have refused television coverage of their FA Cup matches.
�This is against the agreement for this competition and we will be taking disciplinary actions to that effect.
�The FA Cup Committee will be withholding price incentives for these clubs as punishment for now allowing camera access to their venues.�
The round of 16 is scheduled for the weekend of February 20-23 for places in the last eight.
