Former Ebusua Dwarfs coach Prof. Joseph Kwabena Mintah will join Hearts of Oak before the end of the season whiles current head coach Mohammed Polo reverts to the clubs' youth team, Ghanasportsonline.com has exclusively gathered.
The University of Cape Coast associate professor stepped aside from Dwarfs following a series of disagreements with the hierarchy of the club on what he labelled as poor managerial policies of the Cape-Coast based side and he is expected to sign a long term deal for the 2000 CAF Champions league winners.
Ghanasportsonline.com has gathered that ranking members of Accra Hearts of Oak have held meetings with Prof Mintah to join hands with Mohammed Polo before the end of the season whiles he takes time to study and get acquainted with the clubs policies before he subsequently take full charge of the club.
Hearts of Oak have favoured the former Dwarfs coach and nearly hired him for the job after they dismissed coach David Duncan in November last year.
