The Stade Velodrome boss believes the Ghanaian rising star deserves more than what clubs are willing to offer.
Olympique Marseille boss Vincent Labrune has stated that he does not understand why some clubs want to pay less for Andre Ayew, despite his huge talent.
Labrune believes the son of the Ghana football legend Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ is one of the highly talented, but yet, heavily underrated footballer in Europe.
“I honestly think Ayew is one of the most underrated players in Europe. Many clubs have learned about Andre but are not willing to pay the suitable rates,” Labrune told France Football.
“Andre could have gone to Newcastle if we had push, but the fee was not good.”
The Ghana international’s contract ends in June 2015. He is reported to be on the radar of Bayer Munich, AC Milan, Liverpool among others.
