The agency which holds the right of the Ghanaian midfielder is in court over unpaid fees following the transfer of the Rubin Kazan-based player from Ghana to Spain.
JP Sportis, the company which holds the economic right of Rubin Kazan’s Mubarak Wakaso, has driven Elche and Villarreal to court over the player, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.
JP Sports is praying the court to let the clubs repay them an amount of 680,000 Euros and additional 240,000 Euros over his transfer from Ghana’s Ashantigold to Spain.
The agency said besides demanding that fee for a breach of contract, the heads of the clubs should face criminal charges.
Elche president Jose Sepulcre will be one of the witnesses who will testify at the court on April 16 alongside Villarreal’s largest shareholder Fernando Roig.
JP Sportis owns 42.5 percent of the rights of Wakaso who now plays for Rubin Kazan. He spent several weeks playing in Elche and later moved to Villarreal.
