The veteran striker believes he is not done yet and has lots of football still in him after netting the match winner for Heracles Almelo over the weekend.
Ghanaian forward Matthew Amoah has stated that he has still got a lot of energy to play football and it is up to him to continue to prove himself to earn enough game time.
The 33-year-old scored the match winner for Heracles Almelo after starting from the bench in a 2-1 win over NEC.
“Of course, I have had an injury. But this season, the trainer makes the choices. I can only show that I can play football well,” Amoah told Elfvoetball. “We just have to prepare and look at the next game.”
He added: “We’ve never really looked down. We just wanted to look up, and we will continue to do that.”
Amoah was signed by Heracles Almelo in the summer but has seen less playing time after his explosive beginning which saw him netting two goals in his first two games.
