The Ghanaian striker hopes he can get more playing time at club level to enhance his chances of going to Brazil 2014.
Ghana international Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has stressed that he wants to go to the World Cup and will strive towards earning a lot of game time at Elche.
The striker has, however, admitted that the coachs decision is paramount and will not allow his personal interest to override that of the team.
The 21-year-old striker who scored over the weekend when he came on against Getafe seems to have lost his starting role to Cristian Herrera. He has started more than half of the games this season from the bench.
I always try to have minutes to go to the World Cup in Brazil with my country but Escribs decisions are right because he is a great coach and a very quiet person, Boakye told Plazadeportiva.
The coach always seeks the best for the team.
Boakye-Yiadom has netted four goals so far this term since his loan move from Juventus.
