Accra Hearts of Oak Managing Director, Neil Armstrong Mortagbe has denied a report in the Monday edition of the Graphic Sports claiming that he is facing the axe from his employers for his alleged involvement in visa connection issue that got him arrested by the Darkuman Police in the Greater Accra Region.
The publication in the national daily claimed that the former GHALCA treasurer used Hearts of Oak’s letter head inappropriately for the alleged visas connection and was later bailed by Hearts board member Frank Nelson after he was gripped by the Darkuman Police Station.
“The allegations against me in the Graphic Sports are false. I have not gone to the Dansoman or Darkuman Police Station or wherever to be bailed by any Board Member. That is an absolute falsehood. I have not engaged in anything regarding visa connection or racketeering with the club’s letter head,” Neil Armstrong Mortagbe told Power FM.
Several supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak have issued a strong warning to the Board of Directors of the club to immediately terminate the appointment of the managing director Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe.
