The striker is of the view that since he did not take part in the qualifiers it will be a “bad practice” to fuse him in the team for the tournament, but will not reject any call.
A former Tema Youth striker Francis Narh has said he is not in a rush for a Ghana World Cup call-up, although he will not turn down an invitation from coach Kwesi Appiah.
The Banik Ostrava striker said though he is a young player, he is capable of making an impact in the Black Stars and will be ready to learn from experience players such as Asamoah Gyan, Abdul Majeed Waris and Kevin-Prince Boateng.
“I will be happy to get a call-up for the World Cup but I’m not in a rush because I’m a young player with great talent and I know what I can do on the field of play when given the chance but I’m not in a rush,” Narh told Goal Ghana.
“I will be ready to learn from the experience players currently holding the forth for the nation but my time will come to lead the Black Stars to achieve great feat.
“But for now if the coach calls me I will be happy and if he doesn't I will be okay with it because I didn't take part in the qualifiers so it will be a bad practice to allow someone who couldn't take part in the World Cup qualifiers to get a call-up but if I get the chance I will not disappoint the technical handlers of the Black Stars,” the 20-year-old striker added.
Narh was part of the Black Satellites team that won bronze medal at the 2013 U-20 World Cup in Turkey and currently plying his trade in the Grambrinus Liga for Banik Ostrava in Czech Republic.
