Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has made the three-man shortlist for the UAE Arabian Gulf League Foreign Player of the Year.
The Al Ain ace faces stiff competition from Brazilian Grafite, last year’s winner, of Al Ahli and Sebastián Tagliabúe from Argentina.
Gyan scored 29 goals in 25 league appearances and won the season’s top scorer award for the third consecutive time.
Grafite raked in 19 goals in 24 appearances and Tagliabúe finished second on the scorers chart this season with.
The award will be held on Saturday 17 May.
