Uganda coach Milutin Sredojevic is calling on Ghanaians to take it easy with Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah.
The coach, who guided his side to a 1-1 drawn game against the Black Stars in Kumasi last Saturday, revealed that Ghanaians are not being fair to the Black Stars coach with their verbal attacks.
He therefore advised that fans should rather rally around the coach and the team as a whole for the results they are looking for.
Coach Sredojevic, in a post-match press conference, said he believed the task ahead – playing the Hawks of Togo this Wednesday and the remaining Nations Cup qualifiers, call for total support from the entire nation.
“I have seen when coach Appiah started the job, and I totally believe that you guys are being too harsh on him.
“I have great respect for him, and I think you should have an element of patience. You are playing another game in the next few days, give him your support and be patriotic,” he added.
Coach Appiah has a daunting task of leading the team for a respectable score line in their midweek clash in Lome.
The team is expected to fly out of the country for the Togo challenge today.
