Beleaguered Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is set to make a sensational return to Ghana premier league side Ashanti Gold FC, Ghanasportsonline.com can confirm.
The 29-year old shot-stopper cancelled his 8-week old contract with ABSA premiership side Chippa United due to the club's inability to meet his financial entitlements.
Dauda has said he is making a return to the Ghana Premier for a short spell before the next transfer window, and claimed he was open to a move to any club.
But Ashanti Gld FC Chief Executive Kodjoe Fianoo says the goalkeeper has contacted the club and made his intentions of joining the Len Clay side as a first option.
"I received a call about three- four hours ago and it was from Fatau Dauda," Fianoo said.
"He made his intentions clear of joining Ashgold and so we are ready for him".
