Maxwell Konadu has ended his reign as Black Stars caretaker coach after supervising the side�s 3-1 win over Guinea in the qualifying reverse for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Kotoko trainer stepped in for dismissed Kwesi Appiah and supervised the side�s 1-1 stalemate against their opponent in the corresponding fixture last Saturday.
Konadu�s reign as the boss of the Ghanaian national team came to to an end on Wednesday�s after the side�s nervy win over the Syli Nationale at the Tamale stadium.
The Ghana FA is in the process of firming up a substantive coach for the team with former Chelsea coach Avram Grant believed to be in pole position to land the top job.
German Bernd Schuster has denied knowledge of his interest in the Ghana post while Michel Pont, Juan Ignacio Martinez and Marco Tardelli are all in the running for the hot job.
Konadu will serve as the deputy to the one who will finally be chosen by the Ghanaian authorities.
