The four-time African champions are expected to camp in Europe ahead of the 2015 Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea.
Ghana will be camping in Spain from the first week of January ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars will arrive in Spain from January 3 and spend close to 10 days before departing for the continent’s showpiece in Equatorial Guinea.
The management committee chairman George Afriyie has revealed the Ghana FA settled on Spain because that has been the preference of coach Avram Grant. They are supposed to also play a few warm-up games before the tournament.
“We are leaving the country to Spain on January 3 for the camping ahead of the Afcon," Afriyie told Kumasi-based Metro FM. “Head coach Avram Grant is expected to land in the country on December 28 and residential camping will commence the following day.”
Ghana are housed in a difficult Group C with Senegal, South Africa and Algeria. The tournaments kicks off January 17 and ends February 8.
