Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sani Mohammed is now a Police officer.
The 28-year-old won the Ghana Premier League title with Hearts of Oak in 2002 and stayed three seasons with the Phobians before joining rivals Asante Kotoko. The former shot-stopper was among personnel who graduated from the Northern Regional Police Service Training School in 2013.
But he left Kotoko following failures to settle his financial entitlements and faded out of the Ghanaian football scene. Sani was once named in the Ghana squad but failed to make an international appearance.
Benedict Owusu of Joy Sports captured this picture when he was designated to Accra Sports Stadium to help with security at the stadium during Hearts of Oak match against Libery Professionals yesterday.
The match ended in 1-1 draw.
