Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has applauded the Black Stars for the excellent feat at this year’s Cup of Nations finals in Equatorial Guinea.
Coach Avram Grant’s side made their tenth AFCON finals on Sunday following their immense performance at the tournament.
Ghana who were aiming to clinch their fifth Cup of Nations title failed after losing on penalties to West African neighbours Cote d’ Ivoire.
The former Arsenal midfielder has therefore praised the team for the impressive display at this year’s Africa’s flagship football event
“Well done Ghana man Proud Ghanaian didn’t even think we will get this far well done boys,” Frimpong tweeted.
Ghana’s Cup of Nations trophy-less jinx has further been extended after failing to win the tournament in Equatorial Guinea
