Ghanaian supporters who watched goalkeeper Razak Briamah sprinkle concoctions in his goal post during the Ghana-Ivory Coast final game are embarrassingly angry with the Ghana goalie, Ghanasportsonline has gathered.
On radio phone-in programmes in Ashanti and Greater Accra, soccer fans have condemned the Black Star goalie describing his behavior as embarrassing to the people of Ghana both home and abroad.
“It is a very bad behavior that must not be encouraged in the team, it gives the team a very bad image globally.” One angry radio caller said.
Many Ghanaians have condemned the behavior of the Spain second tier goalkeeper who was captured by cameras sprinkling juju in his post during the second half of the Ghana-Ivory Coast Game.
Interestingly, Razak Briamah missed his penalty kick in the very post he sprinkled his concoctions against Ivorian goalkeeper Boubacar Barry.
It will be recalled that former Black Stars coach Goran Stevanovic cited Juju by some of the Black Stars players as one of the major reasons why the team failed during the 2012 AFCON in Gabon-Equatorial Guinea.
