Black Stars Coach Avram Grant will be at the Providence Park in Oregon to monitor the performance of Portland Timbers’ goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey in an MLS home fixture against Orlando City SC on Sunday, Dailysoccerghana.com can confirm.
The Israeli trainer is expected to hold talks with the 27-year-old glovesman to return to the Black Stars as the former Chelsea Boss uses the opportunity to also watch winger Ishmael Yartey, who is on loan at Portland Timbers from FC Sion.
The Norway born Ghanaian has become fans’ favorite after featuring in 5 Major League Soccer, where he conceded five goals and kept two clean sheets.
Kwarasey has not been in post for Ghana since he was given a starting role for the Black Stars against the USA at the 2014 World Cup.
