Asante Kotoko are not takings disciplinary issues lightly, as the club has taken a stern measure to address matters of player absenteeism from training with striker Ahmed and midfielder Owusu Jackson set to be docked up to three months salaries for missing training sessions without a "tangible excuse".
Ghanasportsonline.com checks has indicated that the two players will also be CAUTIONED for the untoward behaviour. Both players, according to sources, will also be left out of the Elite Cup game against Wssaman on Wednesday as a warning about the standards expected by the club.
David Duncan has served the two with query letters, following their failure to turn up for training sessions. Jackson and Toure had up till a deadline of Friday to answer the queries, but Ghanasportsonline.com has learnt of prescribed sanctions for their actions.
Tough-talking head coach David Duncan is determined to instil discipline in his team by taking action against the two players to serve as a deterrent the other members of the squad.
Toure missed the trip to Tarkwa last Tuesday despite being named as part of the squad that trekked to the Dompim Park to play Wassaman United in the Elite Cup match.
When the team returned after losing 1-0 to the division one side, the Ivorian did not report for training on Friday and Saturday.
He has given no explanation for his absence.
Jackson has also missed Friday, Saturday and Monday training sessions.
