Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh has set a semifinal target at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
Ghana will be appearing in her seventh FIFA World Youth Championships after participating in the 1993, 1995,1999,2001,2009 and 2013 editions of the competition.
The Black Satellites having excelled in the last edition of the competition after winning bronze in Turkey will be hoping to record yet another feat in this year’s tournament.
Coach Sellas Tetteh is therefore looking forward in guiding his side to a fourth successive semifinal berth.
“Our first objective is to reach the semi-final then after that we go in for the ultimate. We are going to work hard to get into the semi-finals and from there we see how it goes”, Sellas Tetteh told the media.
The team is however expected to depart Ghana tonight to continue their build-up for the tournament which kicks starts in thirty days’ time.
Ghana is pitted in Group B together with Argentina, Panama and Austria.
