Bournemouth have completed the season-long loan move for Chelsea winger Christian Atsu.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is determined to get his squad assembled as quickly as possible to maximise their chance of staying in the Barclays Premier League next season.
Howe said: “We had to fight off several other Premier League clubs to get him, so we are very, very pleased.
“Christian is a player with outstanding experience when you look at the career he has had.”
Atsu, 23, arrives from Stamford Bridge after a disappointing season on loan at Everton, where he started only one league game.
The Ghana international joined Chelsea from Porto in September 2013, signing a five-year contract for a fee of around £3.5m before he was immediately loaned out to Vitesse Arnhem.
