Black Stars players and staff on Thursday paid their respects to the 150 people who lost their lives from the twin flood and fire disaster in the Ghanaian capital, Accra last Wednesday by visiting the site to lay wreaths in their memory.
Coach Avram Grant and team captain Asamoah Gyan led the senior men's team, who are preparing in Accra for their Group H fixture in the qualifying for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations against Mauritius on Sunday.
The team made the heart-felt gesture of laying wreaths in memory of the departed.
They also donated GHS50,000.00 towards efforts to help victims of the disaster overcome their deprivation.
