Italian side Sampdoria has intensified their pursuit for Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari, reports in Italy has indicated.
Muntari has been linked with a move away from Milan after a fruitless season with the Rosenneri.
The 29-year-old who was deemed surplus by Coach Felipo Inzaghi made only 11 League appearances for the Club this season.
Milan will not renew the contract of the Ghanaian international whose deal ends in two months� time.
Reports in Italy has hinted that Sampdoria manager Walter Zenga is keen on bring in the former Inter Milan midfielder to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris despite several approach from other Clubs in Italy.
Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy has also been reported to have expressed interest in the former Portsmouth and Sunderland midfielder.
