The Swans top hierarchy are weighing up options to employ the Israeli after the sacking of Gary Monk this week.
Swansea City are considering Ghana coach Avram Grant as a replacement for Gary Monk, who was fired this week after eleven months of handling the English Premier League side, according to Skysports.
Grant, 60, has previously managed Portsmouth and Chelsea, guiding the latter to the final of the Uefa Champions League in 2008.
He joined Ghana in 2014 and led the Black Stars to the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, losing on penalties to Cote d'Ivoire.
At a press meeting in Accra last month, Grant said he was unsure of his future, suggesting he might not extend his stay in the West African country beyond January 2017.
“This is football, you never know,” Grant said. “My contract is up to January 2017 and we will see what will happen in the future. Everything is possible. For now, I am focused on what to do and not when the contract will end.
Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers and Gus Poyet, formerly of Sunderland, are also in the race for the vacant post, according to reports.
Swansea lie 15th on the EPL log with 14 points, one point above safety. They travel to Etihad Stadium on Saturday to lock horns with Manchester City with the hope of ending their poor run of results.
