Accra giants Hearts of Oak have announced a total of nine new players already recruited ahead of the new season.
The Phobians had faced criticisms from fans and pundits following their dull activities in the transfer market as opposed to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko, who could boast of more than 10 new signings.
The list released by the club includes the following players - winger Patrick Razak from Tamale Utrecht, defender Justine Anane formerly of Berekum Chelsea, striker Cosmos Dauda from Mighty Jet, former Dwarfs midfielder Mustapha Essuman and former Liberty Professionals defender John Abiadoo.
Others are - goalkeeper Benjamin Doe Atiso, midfielder Prince Boadu, attacking midfielder Daniel Boateng and central defender Ibrahim Musah.
Hearts have long begun the groundwork for the new campaign and are currently attending a two-club tournament in Libya.
They finished at 13th position, narrowly above relegation with 40 points last season.
