Giants Asante Kotoko suffered a major blow on Saturday when their first choice goalkeeper Felix Annan was stretchered off in the season opener against WAFA in Sogakope on Saturday.
The shot-stopper was taken off in the 24th minute of the game after clashing with WAFA midfielder Charles Boateng.
Annan, who returned to the Porcupine Warriors this season from a loan stint with WAFA, was taken off with a knee injury following the clash.
Annan, who pulled an excellent save before was replaced by Ofori Antwi, will undergo tests on Monday before the extent of injury is known.
His injury compounds the injury woes of Kotoko who already have midfielder Jackson Owusu ruled out for the rest of the season.
