Ghanaian international Rabiu Mohammed has been ruled out for six months after suffering a knee injury.
The 26-year-old was pulled off in Kuban Krasnodar’s 1-0 defeat to Rostov in the Russian Premier League last Saturday.
Rabiu after undergoing a test have been ruled out for the next 20 weeks with a cruciate ligament rupture in his right knee.
The player will hence miss the rest of the season as well as Ghana Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mauritius and Rwanda respectively.
The former Ghana youth international is however expected to fly out to Germany for a surgery.
