Kazakhstan-based Patrick Twumasi has described his debut Black Stars call-up as a "dream come true."
The FC Astana striker was one of three debutants named in Avram Grant’s 23-man squad to face Mauritius on Sunday, 05 June away.
On Monday, he was among 18 players who trained at the Accra Sports Stadium under Grant.
Twumasi, a graduate from the defunct Red Bull Academy, wants to make the most of the opportunity handed him.
"It is a great feeling and I am honoured, feel very good and was happy to receive the call up. It does not matter the position I am made to play in the team, what matters the most is the team performs well and qualify for the AFCON 2017 in Gabon," he said
"To have received the call up is just a dream come true for me."
Twumasi scored two goals FC Astana in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
