Accra Hearts of Oak have sent their condolences to the family of former player Uriah Asante.
Asante who was just 24, met his untimely death at the Korle Bu teaching hospital on Monday after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest.
The midfielder had returned from a stint in Bahrain.
The player is said to have been complaining of chest pains since his arrival in the country.
Hearts has however sent their sympathy to the family of the player who played a crucial role during his time with the Club.
“We have been reliably informed of Uriah Asante's painful demise. We send our utmost condolences to the Asante family,” the Club tweeted.
The University of Ghana Alumni also featured for Tunisian giant Etoile Du Sahel.
