Team manager of Hearts of Oak Sabahn Quaye is calling for a United front among the Phobian fraternity in their bid to win this season’s Ghana Premier League.

The Rainbow Club wants to redeem their image by clinching the domestic League title for the first time in eight years.

Hearts of Oak have come close to the League title on two occasions since they last won it in 2008.

Sabahn Quaye who doubles as the team manager for the Black Stars says the team must be United in other to achieve their aim of winning the League title this season.

“Our supporters should have patience with us,” he told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak

“When we get out of Accra, we play well and we play better games. But we want to transfer these good performances on the road to the Accra Sports Stadium because that is our home.

‘We need full support from our fans to be able to play good football and feel at home in Accra.

“I am calling for a united front on all sides – from the rank and file of the club – now that we have taken the lead on the table.

‘We need unity to be able to achieve our season desire of winning the league title.

“When we came to play Hasaacas, the very moment we landed on the pitch, we felt at home because of the way the fans supported us. We will need more support too at home [Accra] so that we can deliver for the fans.”

The former CAF Champions League winners are eager to overcome their dwindling fortunes for the past eight years.

Hearts will face Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
