The former coach-turned-pundit believes the Black Stars coach must enrol in further studies to equip him for the future.
Former Eleven Wise and Feyenoord Academy coach, Nana Kwaku Agyemang, has urged newly appointed Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah to acquire Uefa's A license to help him to successful in his second coming.
Appiah, 56, was appointed in a two-year deal this week to replace former Chelsea boss Avram Grant, who left the role in February after his contract expired.
“Kwesi Appiah can succeed if he is not given the 2019 Afcon as a target. However, while on the job, he has to take the Uefa A and pro license courses, as this will further equip him in becoming a more astute tactician not only during matches but also in his coaching sessions,” Agyeman told Herosportsgh.com.
“The players will respect him because of his experience as a footballer and qualification as a coach.
“If he is prepared to totally revamp the team and sideline the old, injured and the cameo or bench warmers in Europe, he should be equipping himself with respect since their coaches in Europe are with higher certificates.
''He can re-establish a philosophy as the spinal cord of not only the Black Stars but also the CHAN team and pay attention to the potentials that exist in the Ghana Premier League also.
“He can recruit those players that are performing well in accordance to statistics available and MVP’s received."
He added: ''In short, if his only target is to rebuild the national team and local Blacks Stars concurrently over the next two years, creating a strong formidable team that plays well and able to deliver, then he stands a chance of having his contract extended. However, Appiah should be told his target to avoid confusions at the eleventh hour.''
Appiah holds Caf license A and has had exchange programs with Manchester City during the era of Manuel Pellegrini. He is expected to begin his duties on May 1.

Akwasi Appiah already possess CAF license 'A'. Why does he need UEFA license 'A'. Is Nana Agyemang by any means suggesting that the CAF licences are inferior to UEFA? I guess Nana Agyeman possesses UEFA licence.....so the question is, what has he achieved as a coach with the UEFA license that he has? Avram Grant got to the finals of AFCON 2015 because he used a team already prepared by Akwasi Appiah. Meanwhile after spending two years and making his own team, he couldn't even get to the last of the recent AFCON 2017. So what did Avram Grant's UEFA licence do to help him go beyond the 1/8th stage of AFCON 2017? So Akwasi Agyemang, please come again bcos UEFA licenses don't win titles. That is why you have not won any titles despite having a UEFA license.
The reason why Ghanaian players are not doing well in Europe is because they stopped playing like Africans, that is to say with strength, entertainment, high cohesion and stamina in mind and started playing like Europeans, with form and flow with tight coupling. Now, why will any coach in Europe pay top money for a player in Africa to come over and play the same way as the overstocked players on the European continent? African players are playing like Europeans due to European coaching influence and this "SHERLOCK" is advocating for more of the very thing destroying African football. God, he makes me mad!
Why should an African coach practicing in Africa acquire European coaching license? The suggestor is a ffffffoooooooool. .
My goodness! Is this guy saying acquiring that license alone will made him a better coach or what? or win all matches? This pretentious advice shows he he harbor bad feelings and ***barred word*** of Kwesi Appiah. I learned this loudmouth coach possessed all the coaching license on this planet, but what are his achievements? Nana Agyemang or whatever he called himself, is becoming a nuisance in Ghana football scenes.
The site of another Ghanaian holding a position of authority fills me with such dread that I must ask for a European's permission oops! license, before he is accepted. Now that what you call, slave mentality. People like this ***barred word*** are the reason "THE BLACK MAN IS NOT CAPABLE OF...". They are afraid to lead, make mistakes and always requires non-Ghanaians to take the lead.
