Veteran Great Olympics defender Dan Quaye will leave the Club at the end of the 2016/17 League season.
The 32-year-old have agreed with Club officials not to continue his stint with the Ghana Premier League side at the end of the League campaign.
Reports say official of the Club were willing to keep the experienced defender in the team for at least another season but the former Ghana international has rejected the offer by the Club hence will leave at the end of the League.
“Management and officials had wanted him to stay, they wanted him to stay for at least one more season but he insist he will leave at the end of the season,” an insider disclosed to Ghana Sports Newspaper.
“We can’t stop him, we believed he could have still helped us but it is his decision and we can’t change that.
“He has really helped the Club a lot for the past two or three seasons and we know he has paid his dues.”
