Following the conclusion of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2017, FIFA’s Technical Study Group named Luka Modric the tournament’s most valuable player.

Real Madrid’s Croatian star secured the adidas Golden Ball and the Alibaba Cloud Trophy thanks to superb performances in both his side’s games, helping them to win the competition for the second year running.

FIFA.com reveals where the individual awards went at UAE 2017.

adidas Golden Ball and the Alibaba Cloud Trophy: Luka Modric (Real Madrid)
The winner of the adidas Silver Ball at Japan 2016, the Croatian midfielder went one better this time, collecting the adidas Golden Ball and the Alibaba Cloud Trophy as the competition’s most outstanding player. Modric provided an assist in the semi-final against host club Al Jazira and then excelled in the final against Brazil’s Gremio.

adidas Silver Ball: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
The Portuguese star was on the scoresheet in the semi-final against Al Jazira and scored the only goal of the final, securing Real Madrid’s fifth trophy of 2017 and their third Club World Cup title.

adidas Bronze Ball: Jonathan Urretaviscaya
The Uruguayan midfielder played an instrumental part as Pachuca achieved their best ever Club World Cup finish. The 27-year-old gave the Mexican side the lead in the match for third place against Al Jazira, helping the CONCACAF champions to complete the podium at UAE 2017.

FIFA Fair Play Award: Real Madrid
While conquering the world for the second year running, Real Madrid were on their very best behaviour, picking up a solitary yellow card in their two matches.
