Senegalese referees headed by Falou Galasse Kane have been tasked to handle the first leg encounter of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederation Cup preliminary qualifying round between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Club Athlétique Renaissance Aiglon Brazzaville (CARA) club of Congo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday 11th February, 2018.
Galasse would be joined on both flanks by compatriots El Hadji Abdoul Aziz Gueye and Amadou Ngom, with Issa SY acting as the fourth referee and Nigeria’s Alhaji Babagana Kali being the Match Commissioner.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko qualified for this year’s CAF Confederation’s Cup competition after winning the 2017 MTN FA Cup, when they beat arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak by 3:1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium with a hat-trick from striker Sadick Adams and a consolation goal from Thomas Abbey.
