President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says he will be reinstating suspended Deputy Sports Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide.
Pius was suspended after a visa scandal rocked the country in the wake of the Commonwealth games.
About 60 persons who claimed to be journalists and were in Australia to cover the Commonwealth games were arrested and repatriated for bearing false identities.
Even though it is not clear how they obtained visas to travel out of the country, reports suggest some officials from the National Sports Authority (NSA) as well as the ministry of sports facilitated the fraudulent visa acquisitions. This led to the suspension of the Deputy Minister and Acting Director General of the NSA, Robert Sarfo Mensah.
But speaking to delegates at the New Patriotic Party’s National Delegates Conference, Saturday, President Akufo-Addo said the investigation on the visa scandal has been completed and per the report, the Deputy Minister is innocent.
“I will reinstate him on Monday…” he added

This president is the most use.less president Ghana has ever had. He talks by heart and keeps deceiving Ghanaians that he is incorruptible. One and half years in government, your government had been full of scandals and you always have the impudence to clear those corrupt people. No wonder you are in nyantakyi's pocket. Already, a song is coming out titled "he is in my pocket". This is a hit song for 2020. We have captured nyantakyi saying you have sold all your father's properties and need to make some money. If you think you can still decieve Ghanaians, you must be joking.
