Former Ghana International John Painstil is likely to return to active football after years away from the pitch.
Paintsil has hinted a possible return to action after indicating he still has some years left.
The ex-Black Stars defender is currently into Coaching having last played for South African Club Maritzburg United.
“I still have 2 or 3 years football in me. I could have played in the Ghana League but the past experiences of some returnees shackled that idea,” he spoke to Atinka FM.
“Some Ghanaian fans think we come back to play here because life is failing us. They don’t respect us and it’s not fair”
The 37-year-old played for English Premier League side, West Ham United, Fulham and Leicester City.
Until recently, the Paintsil was the assistant Coach for South African Club Kaizer Chiefs.
