Daniel Sturridge has completed his move to Turkish side Trabzonspor after signing a three-year deal with the club. The former Chelsea and Manchester City striker, 29, was a free agent after his contract expired at Liverpool in the summer, ending a seven-year spell at Anfield where he scored 67 goals in 160 appearances.
Announcing the signing of Sturridge on Twitter, Trabzonspor revealed in a statement published on the club's official website: "Our company has signed a three-year contract with the free-agent professional footballer Daniel Sturridge, with a one-year option."
Daniel Sturridge will link up with his former Chelsea teammate, John Obi Mikel, who recently joined the club.
