The Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frederick Moore, has said his team are not perturbed about the loss to archrivals Asante Kotoko but rather focused on the upcoming Ghana Premier League.
Hearts lost the President’s Cup 1 – 2 to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
But Moore thinks the club’s target of winning the premier league and representing the country in the CAF Champions League which they last won it in the year 2,000, is a priority.
“We’ve got some targets to achieve. What we are trying to do is to build a formidable team not for a success in a year but for the success in the future”, he emphasised.
Hearts last won the league about 10 years ago and have not represented the country in Africa for the past four years.
Mr Moore added: “We have been around for a long time and we want to win more laurels.”
Hearts kickstart this year’s premier league with a home match against Brekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium.
