Ghanaian football brothers Derek and Richard Boateng have lost their father.
The brothers lost their father, Mr. Boateng on Tuesday through illness.
The news of the passing of their father came at a bad time as the world fights the rapid spreading coronavirus.
Richard Boateng, the younger of the brothers is currently in quarantine at his base in Spain due to the the coronavirus pandemic.
His senior brother Derek Boateng is in Accra, where there has been a partial shutdown because of the growing cases of the coronavirus cases in Ghana.
Derek Boateng was a member of Ghana's team at the World Cups in 2006 and 2010. He played 47 times for the Black Stars.
Meanwhile, his younger brother was a former Ghana youth international.
