Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will have to cruise past second-tier side Asokwa Deportivo to reach the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors, 2nd on the Ghana Premier League table, will take on the Kumasi-based side in the round of 16 clash at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
Kotoko reached the round of 16 stage after beating third-tier side Thunderbolt FC in the round of 32 while Asokwa Deportivo won over Skyy FC.
Deportivo, who compete in the Division One League Zone II, are poised to become one of the clubs from the Ghanaian second-tier league to reach the last 8 of the competition.
There are 5 clubs from the Division One League left in the competition while Attram De V.S Academy and Kintampo Top Talents are from the third-tier league.
Kotoko will be seeking to restore hope into their season following their 1-0 reverse to rivals Hearts of Oak which has thrown their ambitions a bit off course.
