Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has named a strong starting line-up to play Ethiopia in their crucial 2022 World Cup on Thursday afternoon but experienced midfielder Mubarak Wakaso been dropped on the bench while Alexander Djiku is suspended.
The Serbian tactician will make youngsters Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana central to his plans as he will rely on the two Right to Dream Academy playmakers in the match.
Spain-based defender Joseph Aidoo will get the chance to impress as he starts the match in place of France-based defender Djiku who is suspended having accumulated several yellow cards.
Returning striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom will get the chance to start in the game as the lone striker after returning to the Black Stars after a two-year absence.
Spain-based midfielder Baba Iddrisu is prefered ahead of regular starting player Mubarak Wakaso who missed the two previous matches because of injury.
With the China-based Wakaso returning to the squad, it was thought he would automatically revert to his position but Rajevac insists in sticking with the Mallorca player in the heart of the midfield.
