The Sarki Zongo of Garadima, following similar expressions of support by other Zongo chiefs, on Wednesday, thanked NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo for demonstrating true commitment to national cohesion and unity by selecting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a northern Muslim as his Running Mate for the December 2012 General Elections.
