The Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Benjamin Kumbour, has said about 2.2 million people die from food borne diseases in Africa annually. He said this at a forum on food safety organized by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Food Programme (WFP), Food and Drug Board (FDB) on Tuesday in Accra.
