Reports reaching the political desk the Chronicle newspaper indicate that the leadership of the main opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed strong reservations and misgivings about the remarks made by Mr. Kwame Pianim, a leading member of the party, against the former President , Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor.
