Whitney Houston's Daughter To Marry Own 'Brother'

Bobbi Kristina is pictured here stepping out in public for the first time with the man who is healing her broken heart in the wake of her mother's death. The 19-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston, who was sporting a ring on her wedding finger, is rumoured to be secretly engaged to Nick Gordon, 22. Their union, however, is causing concern for some - with Bobbi's grandmother Cissy Houston having apparently branded their relationship incestuous. The couple were pictured here on Tuesday visiting a pizza parlour in their hometown on Atlanta, Georgia. In a public declaration of their love, they were seen kissing and holding hands as they put on a tactile display. Bobbi was also wearing a large ring on her engagement finger amid reports they have secretly got engaged. Despite the pair not actually being blood relatives, Bobbi and Nick grew up together after Whitney took him in at the age of 12 when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him. However, Cissy (Whitneys mother) said that Bobbi and Nick's romance still constitutes wrongdoing, telling TMZ.com: 'What they're doing is incestuous.' Cissy is also quoted as telling the website that she believes Nick is taking advantage of Bobbi and her issues. It is claimed that Cissy has even requested that the Whitney Houston Estate get involved in an attempt to get him evicted from Whitney's $1.2m Atlanta townhouse, where he is apparently currently living alongside Bobbi. Meanwhile TMZ reports that Bobbi Kristina is not listening to her grandmother and the website reports she is telling friends she doesn't care what her family thinks. A source told the site that Bobbi: 'Can't please everyone, so she is going to please herself by doing what she wants to do for once.' A family friend told this week's Star magazine how Nick proposed to Bobbi over the weekend. 'Nick proposed to Krissy on March 10, and she said yes,' the family relative confirmed. 'Krissy said Nick is the only person she trusts in the world. They have a very deep connection.' TMZ claims friends of the couple believe they are heading to Las Vegas soon - although whether they plan to get married there is not clear. Star says the couple are keeping the news quiet for now - but quotes other sources expressing concern and suspicion at the time of the proposal. 'Everyone is worried that Nick is looking to take advantage of Krissy,' a friend told the publication, referring to the $10m Bobbi is set to inherit from her late mother. Nick added fuel to speculation about their relationship status when he tweeted last week: 'Yea we got a little closer and what!!!' Gordon also posted a picture of himself and Bobbi Brown to his Twitter page on Friday. And Nick has told fans only to follow Bobbi Kristina's real account. He tweeted: 'Good morning everyone. Their lots of fake people pretending to be MY Krissi. The real one is @REALbkBrown. Fakes need to get un followed (sic)' Bobbi has not been on the social networking website since December but she and Nick tweeted each other regularly in the months towards the end of last year.
