NDC Gurus Bus Foreigners To Register

TWO PEOPLE were arrested on Thursday by the Anomabo Police Command for posing as natives of the area to enable them register in the ongoing biometric registration exercise. Information has it that two out of four people were arrested when they were pursued by residents of the area for failing to correctly pronounce the names of their supposed areas of residence even though they claimed to hail from the area. The two according to a source were Kojo Denise and Ernest Asiedu believed to have come from Ablekuma in the Greater Accra region. Information further has it that the suspects claimed they were bused to the area by some National Democratic Congress (NDC) gurus there. The source claimed the people were transported the area in a 207 Benz bus with registration number GR 7478 X from Accra to pose as residents and to register. Our source said although the two claimed they were four in number, they were more than that and suspects the rest have gone into hiding. The source added that a delegation of NDC members led by the party�s Constituency Secretary, Alex Bechem allegedly stormed the Anomabo Police Station to demand their release. DAILY GUIDE gathered the two were release immediately the NDC gurus left the police station.
