Guinness Business Talk With CEOs Held In Accra

Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL),has sponsored the maiden �Guinness Business Talk with CEO�s� as part of activities making the 33rd Management Week and Golden Jubilee Week Celebration of the Business House Junior Common Room (BHJCR) of the University of Ghana Business School in Accra. The Managing Director of GGBL, Mr Peter Ndegwa, said �Leadership is a choice you make, not a place you sit. Leadership is a life long learning process. Successful leadership requires competence and skills�. �I believe that people should strive for the top of their game, not the top of their Organisation�. You can choose to become a leader wherever you are. Leadership is all about making things happen�, he added. GGBL has an Early Career Programme which in 2012 will employ 18 graduates on a fast track development cycle. GGBL is the market leader in each of the 5 drink categories in which it competes, it is the single largest taxpayer in the beverage industry and has created more than 37,000 jobs throughout Ghana. The Guinness Business Talk with CEOs was chaired by Professor Kwame Ameyaw Domfeh, Dean of the Business School.
